It's been 11 years since my Father lost his battle with cancer. We've all had loved ones that have battled this disease. In his memory, and in my small way of supporting the American Cancer Society and the National Brain Tumor Society, I have formed a non- profit group called "Coaches Against Cancer". We're a certified 501c3 non-profit organization. On June 19th, we will be hosting our 9th annual "Coaches Against Cancer" Golf Tournament. This tournament is a great day of golf and fun at Cinnabar Hills Golf Course. The tournament is open to anyone, not only coaches. While having a great time, we're raising money for a good cause. Many of you have played in the past, and it's my hope that you'll consider coming back this summer. If you haven't played in the past, the worst excuse you can come up with is, "I'm a lousy golfer..." There are golfers of all levels, and everyone has a great time. Cinnabar Hills is the nicest public course in the South Bay! They do a great job for us.
Coaches Against Cancer
Coach Mike Jones
I have a little saying that is part of my life, and it is “Make a Difference”. Mike made a tremendous difference, and will continue to make a difference. Many of your donations have already been sent to Coaches Against Cancer. I’m proud to say that your donations and Coaches Against Cancer will start the Michael J Jones Memorial Scholarship that will be established to honor high school football players in the South Bay. Mike’s memory and legacy will live on for sure!-Coach K Coach Jones Program- Please Read
